Special christmas characters were good for adults and children
An organ grinder to add to the Victorian feel
Roast chestnuts & other festive food was available throughout the day and night
Live reindeer & ice sculptors were an unusual sight for many and well-loved
Traditional style swingboats were popular
Themed street performers provided amusement

The Shoppers Elf Service was a big hit with weary shoppers and quite a novelty

As Darkness Falls…

Fires looked stunning above and below the water line
Frost & Fire displays
The crowds kept coming throughout the evening
Fire drawings & low-level fireworks in a city centre park
Low -level fireworks were used as there was a road nearby
Blasts of controlled-gas provided some extra thrills
A Dragon’s Lair
The fire and lighting reflected beautifully along the river
Special effects in the city centre to draw the crowds
